Can't help but wonder, is he playing through an effects unit or are the effects coming from the synth.. every preset seems to have delay and reverb..

I thought I like Cobalt8 more, but after listen to this I would say Argon8 is more interesting and richer sounding synth.

These presets bring this bad boy to LIFE. Thank you so much for sharing them. I did run into one issue, the atrophy overwrote slot 1 since it was active, so I have lost the stock UB-XA atrophy profile :(

3:06 How can you modulate the pitch of a sound like that (in its release phase only)? You didn't use the pitch-bend lever. You don't seem to have a controller pedal connected either. 🤔 Is that a trick from the internal modulation matrix or something?

Heard this sound on various soundtracks now it finally clicks what synth it was. Cliff Martinez surely is rocking a prophet 12, it’s got to be. I mean sure there’s plenty of 80’s synths that sound similar but this just has a certain je ne sais quoi. A bit of modern magic I guess.

There isn't a great competition among those who provide custom patches for this synth, but you are standing out amongst them. Best collection of patches I've encountered so far. Will buy once I hold my UB-XA in my hands.
